Sam Hayes recently finished his PhD in Classics at the University of Exeter. His doctoral research considered how a book of epigrams (short, individual poems) work as a concept, and how such a book would have been received and put together in the 1st Century AD.Solo.jpg

He now teaches Classics at secondary school level. His favourite colour is green and he can play the tuba & baritone horn (though not at the same time).

You can find Sam on Twitter, Academia.edu, and on the University of Exeter’s website (where there is more detailed information on the PhD project itself).
